The Athens Urban Transport Organization (OASA) is upgrading its network of nighttime bus routes to meet the transportation needs of passengers effectively during nighttime hours. As part of this effort, initiated is a new nighttime bus line, the 400 Piraeus – St. Doukisis Plakentias, and extending to line 790 from Glyfada to the Anthoupoli metro station.

The new route 400 aims to provide transportation coverage during nighttime hours for areas facilitated by metro line 3, connecting Piraeus to St. Doukisis Plakentias via central roads. Additionally, the extension of nighttime bus line 790 now covers the area of the Anthoupoli metro station. Overall, these improvements aim to upgrade nighttime transportation services for passengers in Athens.
