Oldest message in a bottle found (108 years old)

Finder rewarded with 1 shilling says message

The world’s oldest message in a bottle is believed to have been recovered after 108 years at sea. A retired postal service worker, Marianne Winkler spotted the bottle floating by the German island of Amrum while she was on holidays. She told a local German paper that she noticed the clear glass bottle had a note inside with the words: ‘Break the bottle’. When she unfurled the note she found a message in German, English and Dutch asking the finder to fill in some information on where the bottle had been recovered, before returning it to the Marine Biological Association in Plymouth. The note said whoever followed the instructions would receive 1 shilling.
