Oslo warns that jihadi fighters are heading to the West

According to Norwegian intelligence

Norwegian police made it known that it possesses evidence that jihadist fighters from Syria are heading for Europe and probably Norway.

With the fear of imminent danger, police forces in the country have placed their forces at “risk points” such as airports and train stations, since, according to police the information comes from a trusted source and refers to a jihadist attack in the country in the next few days.

The intelligence chief of the country as well as the police chief gave a joint press conference on Thursday and said: “We have information that Syrian fighters are going to perform a terrorist attack in Norway in a few days. We are considering all possibilities, we are working to shape a clearer picture of the threat”.

Officials stated that they did not know exactly who is planning the attack, nor what the potential targets or the time are, however, they asserted that the information’s source is reliable.
