Paris tourism still high despite terrorist attacks

The cool and calm reaction during the aftermath helped keep bookings stable

The terrorist attack against Charlie Hebdo in Paris, and everything that ensued with the hostage situation in the jewish grocery store seems to have had little to no effect on potential visitors to the City of Light.

According to the European Tourism Agency, the recent attacks did not have a big impact on tourism in France since they affected tourism bookings only in the slightest.

According to the organization, the presence of foreign leaders in Paris helped in keeping Paris to the top places of popular tourist destinations.
