The rumours of the last few days have been confirmed, much faster than expected, with Pep Guardiola and Manchester City extending their partnership until the summer of 2025.

“I am so happy to stay for another two years. It is not enough to thank everyone at the club for their trust. I am happy and comfortable here. I have everything I need to do my job as well as possible. I feel that we have a lot more to achieve and that’s why I want to stay and continue to fight for trophies,” he said in the announcement.
