The small island of Kos has an abundance of places to visit for relaxation or to take in that added bit of history. Its rich Greek and Roman antiquities attract visitors from all over the world. The main harbor is the site of a 15th Century Castle Knight’s Fortress. Lavish mosaics can be seen at the Cassa Roma villa of the 3rd Century. Kos also prides itself in having a beautiful Archeological museum. As for activities, it is unique. The water sports and of course horse riding on the sandy beaches of Kos would make it memorable indeed.
