Lake Kremasta is the largest artificial lake in Greece. The construction of Kremasta Dam was completed in 1965 concentrating waters from four rivers: Acheloos, Agrafiotis, Tavropos and Trikeriotis.
The lake is located on the borders of Aetolia-Acarnania and Evrytania.
