Piers Morgan cornered the representative of the Israeli government about civilian casualties in Gaza

The British journalist became furious with the responses from the representative of the Israeli government

Newsroom May 13 11:23
British journalist Piers Morgan went on to clash with a government spokesperson for Israel who claimed that he was unaware of how many civilians Israel had killed in the war with Gaza. Civilian death toll in Gaza has been of great concern following Israel’s launched military onslaught attack in response to 7 October aggression. During the month of March the UN expressed that the Israeli government had unfortunately lost its credibility over claims stating the need to protect the people in the embattled region. Israel moved forward to launch yet another major military offensive attack against Hamas in Rafah, Gaza’s southernmost following the breakdown on talks of a ceasefire.

Last Tuesday, the Israeli government’s spokesperson Avi Hyman was cornered by Morgan on his online program Uncensored. When the issue came up over the number of those killed since October, where according to Gaza’s Ministry of Health it is  estimated that approximately 35,000 have been killed, the Israeli spokesperson response was that the exact figures are unknown. The British journalist countered by exclaiming that that the Israeli government has the exact numbers for killed Hamas terrorists therefore, why are he numbers of civilian attacks unknown. Israel has consistently argued that the death toll released by Gaza’s Ministry of Health, does not discern among those who are combatants and those who are civilians, further expressing that the cause of deaths also have not been recorded.
Hyman further argued that Israel’s main target are Hamas terrorists, Morgan asserted that Israel puts a larger bounty on killing Hamas terrorists with regards to numbers and accountability and innocent civilians the issue raises questions. The British journalist when on to raise the topic of his guests post being official spokesperson for the government of Israel, yet still being unaware of  the number of civilians killed.
