PM Mitsotakis at cabinet meeting: “It is important to be consistent in the implementation of our planning”

Seven topics will be on the agenda

Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis is chairing a cabinet meeting that will examine seven main issues.

Kyriakos Mitsotakis referred to the support measures that have been announced and are being implemented, as well as to the measures that will come into effect in the next period, announcing that “we are willing to return the dividend of growth in a fair way to society by supporting especially the weakest citizens” in his introduction to cabinet

“It is important to be consistent in the implementation of our planning, especially in the secondary process of what must be done, i.e. after the submission of the bills” was also one of the messages sent to the ministers by the prime minister.

The Cabinet agenda includes:

-Presentation by the Deputy Minister of Finance Theodoros Skylakakis regarding the course of implementation of the National Recovery and Resilience Plan Greece 2.0

-Briefing by the Deputy Minister of the Interior Stelios Petsas on the financial issues of Local Government Organizations

-Briefing by the Minister of the Interior Makis Voridis on the mechanism rationalization of multi-level governance responsibilities

-Presentation by the Minister of Labour and Social Affairs Kostis Hatzidakis of the housing policy bill

-Presentation by the Minister of Justice Kostas Tsiaras and Deputy Minister Giorgos Kotsiras of the bill for the harmonisation of the basic Codes with the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities

-Presentation by the Minister of State and Digital Governance Kyriakos Pierrakakis and the Minister of the Interior Makis Voridis of the bill for the organisation of State-Citizen relations (Administrative Procedure Code)

-Presentation by the Minister of Infrastructure and Transport, Kostas Karamanlis, of the legislative initiatives: a) Establishment of a National Organisation for the Investigation of Air and Railway Accidents and Transport Safety, b) Ratification of an amendment to the Concession Agreement of the project “Development of the Thriasios Pedi freight center”, c) Fundraising bill.
