PM Mitsotakis visits TIF booths in Thessaloniki – We have shielded Greek society

The PM said more is needed on a European level

PM Kyriakos Mitsotakis visited a number of stands of the 86th TIF in the morning, in Thessaloniki accompanied by members of the government, while he also stopped at the stand of the United Arab Emirates, which is this year’s honoured country at the Thessaloniki International Exhibition. Later this evening, during his address to the market sector representatives at the Ioannis Vellidis Convention Center, the prime minister is expected to outline how the government will continue to support households and businesses in the adverse juncture of the energy crisis.

During his tour of the TIF booths, he said that the government would shield Greek society, but always expects further European support for the relief of households and businesses. “We have already built a support network for Greek society at the national level and of course, we always expect further European support in order to be able to relieve households and businesses in this way,” he said.
