Poll shows eight in 10 Greeks feel that SYRIZA-ANEL is on wrong track

Greeks are pessimistic concerning their future

An opinion poll conducted by private SKAI TV shows that 78% of Greeks believe that the Radical Left Coalition (SYRIZA)-right-wing Independent Greeks (ANEL) coalition government is headed in the wrong direction. A large portion of SYRIZA voters (56.5%) believe this. 86% of the poll’s participants said they are not satisfied, while 70% of SYRIZA voters are also dissatisfied.

50% of Greeks are against the austerity reforms of the third bailout program, whereas 73.5% doubt that Greece will get out of the bailout commitments at the end of the four-year term. A large portion of voters (70.5%) believe that the economic situation will worsen in Greece, 21.5% say it will stay the same and 6.5% say it will improve.
