Pope Francis speaks about peace and war

Before 7,000 children

Pope Francis spoke before 7,000 children about war, peace, juvenile prisons and the rest he needs.

“Many men in power do not wish for peace, for they live from war profits. They gain much more from war than peace”, stated the Pope towards the onlooking children.

He also added that peace is a product of love, that takes effort and care.

He spoke to a child imprisoned in a juvenile prison, and told him that it is our duty to say “Did you do something wrong? Did you fall? Here, let me help you up”, explaining that what should take place is rehabilitation, and not punishment.
