With a selling price starting at 30,000 euros, Joseph Stefano’s “Olympia” typewriter, which he used while writing Hitchcock’s famous thriller “Psycho” will be auctioned off.

The film was a great success when it was released, and until today it has a cult following and is considered one of the masterpieces of its kind. In 1991, the movie was chosen by the American Congress Library as a piece to be saved in its files, and in 1998 it was voted the 18th best movie in history, by the American Film Institute.

After the movie, Stefano wrote 12 episodes for the series “The Outer Limits” on the same Olympia.

It is worth noting that the remarkable green typewriter is fully operational.
