A Moscow court has fined Chinese-owned social media platform TikTok 2 million rubles ($27,239.79) for failing to delete posts that Russia has banned as ” homosexual propaganda”.
A Russian law in 2013, which has been criticised by Western countries as state-imposed intolerance, prohibits “promoting non-traditional sexual intercourse to minors.”
TikTok did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
