Terrifying photographs show the suffocating spaces where dozens of Yazidi women were trapped underground in an ISIS prison in horrifying conditions.
Small panels on the surface of northern Syrian desert are the only sign of the horrific prison where the women were forced to live.
A SkyNews investigation revealed the shocking images of the tiny cells were Yazidi women were kept. The horrific discovery was made by Kurdish rebels fighting ISIS militants, also known as Daesh.
The Yazidi women would have spent hours in complete darkness with barely any room to move or lie down, while many of the images show that the women were thinking of their former lives.
One image shows a drawing of a large house, with a car and animals outside.
It is not yet known, though, what happened to the women kept there, or where they might be now.
