“Someone just got eaten by a shark!” – Shocking video of a Great White shark attack in Australia (video)

The screams of the unfortunate man were heard with the eyewitnesses unable to do anything

A horrific video shows a swimmer being attacked by a white shark, off the beach “Little Bay” in Sydney, Australia.

The unfortunate man failed to escape the shark’s jaws with the Australian media pointing out that this is the first death in Sydney recorded by a shark attack since 1963.

Authorities have ordered the closure of dozens of beaches for precautionary measures.

Yesterday afternoon at 16.30 p.m. local time, emergency services were called to the Malabar area, following reports that a man had been attacked by a shark.

Lifeguards and surfers located human remains at the scene of the tragedy, according to a New South Wales police statement. A member of the rescue team claimed that by the time the ambulance arrived it was unable to help the swimmer as he had suffered catastrophic injuries.

However, the screams of the unfortunate man were heard with the eyewitnesses unable to do anything.

The white shark, 4.5 meters long, cut him in half and then devoured him with the sea water filling with blood on the spot.

Fisherman Chris Lido told the “Nine News” channel that he saw the horror scene minute by minute.

“We heard a scream. The splash in the water at that point looked as if a car had landed in the water”, she said.

Ernesto, a resident of the area, claimed that after the swimmer’s death, it would take him a while to go for a swim.

Scientist Vanessa Pirota believes that factors such as water temperature and currents could shed light on the type of shark that attacked the swimmer. “It is always shocking to hear such things happen”, she said.
