“The country is not coming out of the memorandum. On the contrary, it is being led deeper into it”. This was the official SYRIZA comment, featured in an article published by “Avgi” in regards to the updated Memorandum which provides for “a suspension mechanism after 2015”.
According to the Opposition, “the content of the updated Memorandum constitutes a brutal neoliberal deregulation of the public sector, with a permanent layoff mechanism after 2015, abolition of the unified wage and frozen spending on pensions and health care”.
“The celebrations for the primary – pre-election – surplus for which the Greek society has been bled dry, cannot hide the future plans of Samaras and Mrs. Merkel for the Greek people. But they reckon without their host”, concludes SYRIZA.
