Kostas Bakoyannis, former mayor of Athens, has been elected as the new president of the Environment, Climate Change, and Energy Committee (ENVE) at the European Committee of the Regions. In this role, Bakoyannis will represent the regions and cities of the EU on environmental issues, climate change, energy, and more for the next two and a half years
