Yannis Boutaris seems to have a best friend in Evangelos Venizelos
The occurences during PASOK’s event in Zappeio on Monday, especially the booing against PASOK President Evangelos Venizelos seem to have ired the mayor of Thessaloniki, Yannis Boutaris.
According to reports, Mr. Boutaris lashed out against all those who attacked Evangelos Venizelos, characterizing them as “idiots” and “old-line PASOK supporters stuck in the past”.
Mr. Boutaris expressed his support towards the current PASOK president, even going so far as to call him a hero.
