Turkey violates Greek airspace 22 times- Two dog fights ensue

Twelve F-16 fighters and one twin-engine ATR-72 turbine, 3 UAVs, 1 CN-235, and 1 helicopter flew in formations.

Turkish provocations continued unabated over the Northeast, Central, and Southeast Aegean, as there were 22 violations by a total of 17 UAVs, and five Turkish Air Force aircraft on Monday.

Twelve F-16 fighters and one twin-engine ATR-72 turbine, 3 UAVs, 1 CN-235, and 1 helicopter flew in formations. Of the aircraft, four were armed. There were also 17 infringements which resulted in 2 dog fights between Greek and Turkish aircraft.

The Turkish aircraft, as reported by the Hellenic National Defence General Staff (HNDGS), were identified and intercepted in accordance with international rules, according to established practices.
