A Turk and an Afghan were killed after a kamikaze smashed his car, strapped with explosives against the Turkish embassy

A suicide attack took place in Kabul today, when a kamikaze smashed their explosives-packed car into a vehicle of the Turkish embassy, causing the death of two: A Turk and an Afghan.

The explosion which hurt the core of the enclosed and guarded area where foreign embassies are located in the capital of Afghanistan, took place near the buildings where German and Iranian diplomats are housed. The explosion shook the windows and set all security personnel on red alert.

The Taliban assumed responsibility immediately after, stating that the goal was to attack a foreign powers motorcade.

This is the second time that a foreign power’s diplomatic vehicle has been targeted in Kabul by extremists, in the space of just a few months.
