Vouliagmeni: The Boeing 727 of Olympic Airlines becomes an exhibit for the world to visit

In two months the works in the surrounding area will be completed and the exhibition will be opened to the public

A rendezvous at the plane in about two months from now, when the maintenance work on the Olympic Airways Boeing 727, which was placed on Vouliagmeni Avenue, will be completed.

In about two months, the work on the surrounding area where the legendary 727 is hosted, on the side street of Vouliagmenis Avenue, will also be completed and from then on, it will be open to the public.

The aircraft, which has been out of service for several decades, was moved to Vouliagmenis Avenue from the runway of the old Elliniko airport, where it had been parked since it was decommissioned.

Its rescue and promotion as a landmark was personally undertaken by the Cypriot businessman, Andreas Christodoulides, current owner of the Cyprus Private Aircraft Company “ZELA AVIATION”.
