Brooklyn Nets superstar Kevin Durant was left speechless after he experienced the unique atmosphere in the Piraeus Basketball Stadium on Wednesday night when home side Olympiakos beat Monaco to reach the Belgrade Final 4. So impressed was KD that he tweeted a brief video commenting “The apocalypse” as the flares and smoke made the atmosphere inferno-like.

KD watched two games between the teams after his former Nets buddy Mike James, currently playing for Monaco invited him.
Durant was enjoying the EuroLeague quarter-final on Wednesday when the home crowd decided to start booing him mid-game. The Nets star was briefly shown on the broadcast and it prompted Olympiacos supporters to start jeering (h/t BasketNews.com on Twitter):
Durant was loving it, though, and the Nets superstar even shared a clip of the insane celebration of Olympiacos fans after they bagged the 94-88 win to book their place in the next round:

The French might have lost the game but KD and James spent the night at a club in Athens where the NBA superstar spitting some bars at a nightclub in Athens.
