The port of Piraeus hosts one of the most luxurious cruise ships in the world, “Queen Elizabeth”.
The newest member of Cunard fleet was baptized on October 12, 2010 by Queen Elizabeth.
The brand new cruise ship, bearing the name of the first queen, is elegant and has many modern features.
The rooms and rich décor reflect the legacy of the first Queen and modern elite ocean travel.
The ship was built in 2010 at Fincantieri Monfalcone shipyard in Italy, weighs 90,400 tonnes and is 294 meters long. 12 out of 16 decks host 2,058 passengers and 1,000 crew members.
The luxury cruise ship has been in the eastern Mediterranean since June for 7, 14 and 21 day cruises disembarking from Piraeus, Civitavecchia and Venice.
