With sunshine, Easter travelers will journey on Good Friday as the weather in most parts of the country will be sunny. According to meteorologists, the temperature will rise, and the cloudiness that prevailed on Maundy Thursday will dissipate. However, the scenario changes on Holy Saturday with sporadic rains and clouds, while on Easter Sunday, summer conditions will prevail in much of the country.
Specifically, tomorrow’s weather is expected to be sunny, but instability is expected in the west and north, according to ERT meteorologist Panagiotis Giannopoulos. There, some local showers and isolated thunderstorms will occur, mainly in the northern parts of the country. Today, winds in the Aegean will be force 5 and locally up to force 6 until noon in the Dodecanese. The temperature will reach 24 to 27 degrees Celsius.
On Holy Saturday, it will rain locally in the west and north; however, showers will gradually occur in other areas, especially in the east and mainly in the Aegean. The temperature will slightly decrease in the east.
On Easter Sunday, after dawn, the weather will generally be sunny. In the afternoon, mainly in mountainous areas of western Sterea and the Peloponnese, local showers are expected. Winds in the Aegean will be northwesterly up to force 6.

Forecast:
1. Showers and occasional local storms are expected in the west, central, and northern regions today, Maundy Thursday, and tomorrow, Good Friday, with phenomena more frequent and intense in the northwest and northeast parts.
2. Maritime traffic will proceed without significant problems.
3. The Epitaph procession will take place in mild weather and coolness in most areas. Rain and storms will develop in the northeast (central-eastern Macedonia, Thrace, northeastern Aegean).
4. Holy Saturday will experience bad weather from our country, which will also affect the Resurrection, especially from the Peloponnese and northward. So, umbrellas and jackets are necessary accessories.
5. On Easter Sunday, bad weather will be limited to the Aegean and the eastern and southern mainland, gradually weakening and diminishing.

Visibility in the morning hours in western mainland areas will be locally restricted. Winds will blow from westerly directions, in the north at 3 to 5 Beaufort, in the central parts up to 6, and in the south up to 7 Beaufort. The temperature will reach 21 to 23 degrees in the west and north, 23 to 25 in the rest of the country, and locally in the eastern mainland and Crete, 26 to 27 degrees Celsius.
MACEDONIA, THRACE
Weather: Occasionally increased clouds, with local showers and sporadic thunderstorms in central and eastern Macedonia and Thrace. Improvement in the weather is expected in the afternoon and from the west.
Winds: Westerly 3 to 5 Beaufort.
Temperature: From 11 to 23 degrees Celsius, in western Macedonia 2 to 3 degrees lower.

Winds in the west will blow north-northwesterly at 4 to 6 Beaufort, but they will quickly weaken and become variable at 3 to 4 Beaufort.
