Preparation matches for European national basketball teams are over as they line up for the opening jump ball of the 2015 Eurobasket championships in just two days (September 5). It is the first time in history that the competition will be hosted in 4 European countries -Berlin, Germany; Montpellier, France; Riga, Latvia; and Zagreb, Croatia. The group stage will take place between September 5-10, and Greece is tipped as one of the top contenders for the crown of European champions by many pundits. Greece, along with hosts Croatia will be fielding strong rosters with NBA and Euroleague stars, and the clear favourites to advance through the group A phase battling it out for first spot. The group also features fYRoM, the Netherlands, Slovenia and Georgia.
