Aegean to resume direct flights to Cairo, after a three-year interruption

Following a three-year interruption, Greek carrier Aegean will resume direct flights from Athens to Cairo next Sunday, according to an official announcement of the airline.

The company said that it will operate three flights to Cairo a week, using 168-seat Airbus A320 planes. The passengers will have the opportunity to choose between economy and business class seats.

Flights will depart from Athens every Wednesday, Friday and Sunday at 23:45 and arrive in Cairo at 01:45 the following day. Moreover, they will leave the Egyptian capital every Monday, Thursday and Saturday at 4:45, arriving in Athens at 6:45.
