Amazon-styled FEMEN seeks to recruit Greek women

Greek women are called to join FEMEN’s cause

FEMEN Chief Ina Sevtsenko, the woman who posed topless in front of the Caryatid statues in Athens, states that the group is considering starting a chapter in Athens in an effort to get more Greek women involved in topless activism. The 24-year-old activist told Ethnos newspaper that in Greece it is easy to spot all the corrupt elements that make up the European dogma. “In Europe there are many problems and Greece sheds light on some of these,” she said. “Greece showcases the economic dictatorship of Europe and shows the level of political recklessness against countries that are welcome to the Euroone.”

Sevtsenko states her readiness to get “revenge for the economic and political crisis” in Greece with Greeks. “Greece is the country that gave the world many progressive ideas, many progressive laws and the very notion of democracy,” she says, adding that FEMEN is opposed to the European idea and the “satanic plans of politicians.”
