Equity prices were falling on Monday on the Athens Stock Exchange (ASE), with the basic share price index down 7.16%, standing at 467 points at 14:40pm.

Great losses recorded mainly in bank sector with Alpha at -14.71% with its share at 1.16 euros, National Bank at -26.11% with its share at 0.15 euros, Piraeus at -25% with its share at 0.10 euros and Eurobank at -27.19% with its share standing at 0.40 euros.
