USA beat Serbia and are World Cup Champions for 2014
The 2014 FIBA World Cup basketball finals in Madrid, Spain, featured Serbia vs. USA. In the first half USA was ahead of Serbia, the team that ousted Greece, with a halftime score of 41-67.
The US team won the match with 129 against Serbia that scored 92. It has been 20 years since a score of over 100 was seen in the cup.
