The unbelievable final score, Brazil-Germany 1-7, left Germany laughing and Brazil crying

The devastated defeat of Brazil is the number one topic of discussion in every country, but also the headline of many international newspapers and websites, which describe yesterday’s match with words such as devastation, shame, tragedy. Of course, Twitter users did not miss the opportunity to comment on the historic result reaching to 36,5 millions tweets.

The unbelievable final score, Brazil-Germany 1-7, left Germany laughing and Brazil crying.

When the match ended, Brazilian fans went on the streets and started burning their country’s flag and buses showing their anger and sorrow.

The Spanish newspaper Marca wrote “Eternal shame” while the French L ‘Equipe described the Brazil’s defeat as catastrophe.

Gazzetta dello Sport described the result as the most shameful event while Fahlo de Sao Paul talked about the most unexpected devastation and slaughter.

Sueddeutsche Zeitung’s title was: “Germany goes to Rio, Brazil goes home” and Stern wrote “the most impressive performance of Germany in World Cup history.”

At the same time Twitter users were on fire having posted 36,5 millions tweets mocking Brazil’s defeat.
