British Airways halts all flights to & from China

The UK Foreign Office advised against “all but essential travel to mainland China”

 

The UK Foreign Office advised against “all but essential travel to mainland China” after the city of Wuhan became the epicenter of the coronavirus outbreak that has claimed more than a hundred lives so far.

British Airways subsequently announced that will halt all bookings of direct flights to Beijing and Shanghai.

The airline’s website currently only offers indirect flights with layovers for January and February, while all direct flights are unavailable for purchase.
