According to ‘People’ magazine, the wife of Orlando terrorist Omar Mateen told authorities he her husband was planning to hit either downtown Disney or Pulse night club, finally deciding to attack the latter. The magazine cites an anonymous source shedding new light on his motives, as so far it was believed his hate for homosexuals lead him to shoot 49 people in the club. The same source says Mateen and his wife visited the tourist theme park in April. Police have not denied that information published by the magazine, essentially corroborating the story. Omar Mateen had posted a message on his Facebook page pledging allegiance to the leader of the Islamic State (IS) Al Baghdadi before going on his murderous spree at the Pulse night club.
