Greek Deputy Tourism Minister Elena Kountoura was present in Russia’s International Travel MITT conference in Moscow.

She underlined the importance of tourism for the Greek economy:

“Tourism connects the Greeks and people abroad, it cannot and should not be a combative political issue”, she stated, and added that “Politicians and Media must encourage a positive climate, psychology and image abroad, especially during this period while tourism offers are snapped up for the summer”.
