Erdogan asked to meet with Putin in Paris

Both leaders will take part in the world climate summit that begins in Paris on November 30

Russia’s spokesman Dmitry Peskov announced today that Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan requested a meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin in Paris on November 30.

Turkish presidency’s sources confirmed the statement saying that Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin might hold talks at World Climate Summit to begin next week in Paris. The same sources explained that a specific date for the talks has not been set yet.

Both leaders will take part in the world climate summit that begins in Paris on November 30 and this will be the first time they will meet in person after the downing of the Russian jet that has caused tension in Russian-Turkish relations.
