The LA World Premiere of the latest Star Wars installment, “The Force Awakens”, took place in Los Angeles ten years after the last film. And its return to celluloid after a decade-long absence was triummphant with Stormtrooper mannequins and neon lights resembling giant lightsabers inside an opaque tent shrouding the carpet. A constellation of stars gathered at the premiere including Harrison Ford, Lupita Nyong ‘o, Jon Favreau, Chadwick Boseman, Steven Spielberg, Janelle Monae, Carrie Fisher and many more including “Star Wars” creator George Lucas.

Security was sky high and mortal fans outside the tent were dissapointed as they could not catch even a glimpse of their stars.

The Force Awakens” opens to the public in most countries around the world on Friday, December 18, however Greek audiences will need to wait another seven days for the premiere on December 24.
