Finance Minister received the proposals of PASOK

PASOK asks for corrective actions in an attempt to restore some social injustices

PASOK’s MPs handed over corrective actions for restoring the injustices created due to old and new measures to Finance Minister Gikas Hardouvelis during their meeting which was held at the Ministry of Finance.

The measures discussed aim to ease businesses and households affected by the crisis without compromising the implementation of the medium-term program and include:

– From 2015 tax exemption to be applied (based on the receipts collected) for businesses and individuals.

– Abolition of the obligation of professionals and businesses to submit summaries of invoices each month.

– Increasing the instalments for overdue public debts up to 100 instalments.

– Reducing or even writing-off old and new fines to tax offices.

– Those who submitted overdue annual VAT return statement not to pay 1% increment.

– Reduction of excise duty on heating oil from October

Mr. Hardouvelis told them that he will check these measures and in fact some of them are included in his own proposals.
