Four injured by lightning bolt at Acropolis

Two of them were taken to hospital

Four people were injured when a lightning bolt struck at the Acropolis in Athens, Wednesday.
According to sources, two female guards and two tourists were injured by glass shards after the lightning struck, with two of them reportedly transferred to hospital.

The lightning destroyed the lightning rod and the canopy, as the president of the Panhellenic Union of Guards of Antiquities told protothema.gr.
