FYROM’s PM Gruevski to resign

The resignation and the appointment of a transitional government were confirmed yesterday by FYROM’s PM

Important political developments are expected to occur in Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia (FYROM) based on the agreement reached among the leaders of the four major political parties in July 15, 2015.

In January, the country is expected to appoint a transitional government which will organize early elections in April. A few days earlier Prime Minister Nikola Gruevski will resign and an interim Prime Minister will be announced, while it is still unknown who that person would be.

The developments of Prime Minister’s resignation and the appointment of a transitional government were confirmed yesterday by Nikola Gruevsk.

However, the opposition said that its participation in the elections depends on the fulfillment of the conditions that will ensure fair and democratic elections and accuses Nikola Gruevski of putting obstacles in the implementation of the agreement which aims to resolve the political crisis in the country.
