Korean rapper Psy’s “Gangnam Style” video recorded 2 billion views over the weekend (May 31-June 6) on Youtube.

South Korean rapper Psy is now officially the most popular artist in the history of YouTube, followed by Justin Bieber with his video for the song “Baby”, that has reached one million views.
After being released in July 2012, the iconic “Gangnam Style” music video took the world by storm.
“I don’t remember when ‘Gangnam Style’ broke 1 billion views, but I do recall thinking, ‘How did I ever make such a record,'” Psy said.

Meanwhile, the 37-year old rapper is preparing to release the music video for his collaboration piece with Snoop Dogg titled “Hangover”, which the Korean artist hopes to be as successful as “Gangnam Style”.
