A depleted Greek national basketball team defeated Great Britain (95-92) in overtime (regular time: 83-83) at Leicester in their qualifier for the 2019 FIBA Basketball World Cup to take place in China. The Greek team took to the court with a virtually new squad, as the regular starters are currently playing for their clubs in national competitions and the Euroleague.
