British Vogue hosts a two-page feature article to Patmos in its July issue, entitled “Greek Renaissance”, focusing on the creations of the Greek jewelry designer Ileana Makri .

The magazine refers to the beauty of the island, while the designer explains why she loves Patmos and talks about her favourite beaches, favourite food and the various excursions one can make there.

Ileana Makri guides the editor of Vogue at her home in Patmos, which she bought in 2006. However, the house was built in 1789, therefore, Mrs Makri renovated it using her own unique style.
