IMF highly optimistic on Greek growth for 2017

Report says it will run at 3.2%

The IMF predicts the Greek economy will show a strong recovery in 2017 running at a 2.7 percent growth rate, after slight 0.6 percent contraction in 2016. The Fund’s optimistic outlook for the Greek economy was presented in its revised report in the World Economic Outlook published Tuesday. The report estimates the quarterly growth will touch 0.5 percent for the last quarter, while it will run at an impressive 3.2 percent in the last quarter of 2017!
