ISIS weapons seized by Greek Coast Guard

ISIS killers are sneaking into Europe by mingling with the countless of refugees

The Greek Coast Guard seized a ship on Tuesday carrying ammunition and weapons near the southern island of Crete, reports the Associated Press. The shipment is believed to be linked to the Islamic State group in Libya however this has neither been confirmed or denied by the local authorities.

Libya has become a hotbed for ISIS fighters in recent months and there has been sever political turmoil in the country since the 2011 uprising that toppled Moammar Gadhafi. The weapons have been found at the same time that the EU is concerned with the refugee crisis that is spiralling out of control with more than 300,000 migrants, most from Syria, flooding the EU’s borders in recent months.
