Japan: Jihadists ultimatum has expired

No new information on the Japanese journalist and his Jordanian pilot

According to the Japan’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Japan will request of Jordan to strengthen the protection of diplomats who are in the country, while Tokyo is making every effort to secure the release of the Japanese journalist held hostage by jihadists of the Islamic State.

Jordan, collect and analyze information in an attempt to release Japanese journalist held hostage by Islamists. Earlier, however, the Japanese Minister of Foreign affairs said that he has no information about the fate of the two hostages, the Japanese journalist and Jordanian pilot.
