Last 2 of 8 Turkish military officers involved in coup attempt won’t be extradited

following a court ruling Thursday

Two of the eight asylum-seeking Turkish military officers involved in coup attempt won’t be extradited.

The Thursday ruling by the Athens Court of Appeals came after it was asked to determine whether the last two of the eight military personnel requesting political asylum in Greece should be extradited to Turkey to stand trial following their participation in a failed coup attempt last July to topple Turkish leader Recep Taggip Erdogan.
