Latest fracas between migrants erupts on Lesvos (Watch vid)

Greek isles under continuing pressure due to smuggling of Third World nationals from opposite Turkish coast

Yet another mini riot was reported amongst a group of irregular migrants at the port of Mytilene, on the eastern Aegean island of Lesvos (Lesbos), as authorities struggle to process the thousands of third country nationals being smuggled onto Greece’s isles from neighboring Turkey.
The latest incident occurred on Monday when one group of migrants attempted to bypass others in a line leading to the registration desk. No information was given no the nationalities involved, although a majority of irregular migrants streaming into Greece since late January claim to be Syrian nationals fleeing war zone, i.e. people entitled to refugee status.
Only minor injuries were reported, while some of the application-seekers also turned on coast guard personnel.
