Museums and archaeological sites closed due to 24-hour strike on Thursday

To participate in the general strike called by Greece’s two largest union groups, GSEE and ADEDY

Museums and archaeological sites in Greece will remain closed throughout the day on Thursday participating in the 24-hour strike announced by Greek unions in the country, the Panhellenic Union of Employees for the Guarding of Antiquities (PEYFA) announced on Monday.

The strike has been called by Greece’s two largest union groups, GSEE and ADEDY, to protest against the pension reforms, the prior actions demanded by Greece’s creditors and the changes in labour law.
