Warning: Don’t try this without supervision

Just when you thought yoga couldn’t get weirder than laughter yoga and yogasms, doga enters the equation. Quite simply, doga is the practice of doing yoga with pet pooches. Through acts of meditation, massage and stretching, dogis achieve greater harmony with their dogs.

Orthodox yogis have criticized the practise of yoga as inappropriate because it trivializes the sacred rituals. Dog-lovers, too, have warned that unsupervised doga may have an impact on the welfare of dogs. After all, they can’t tell the owners they’ve had enough.

Dog-owners who practise doga, however, say that it helps calm rowdy canines and stimulates their relationship with their pets and the universe.
