Greek state TV channel, Vouli, chose the July 11 to feature a documentary on the Greek drachma.

While Eurozone finance minister were arriving for the Eurogroup conference to determine Greece’s future from 12.15 through to 1.15 p.m., the state channel cast the spotlight on Greece’s currency before the euro. The documentary, titled “Greek Coinage and Paper Money”, and featured the history of the humble drachma from antiquity until modern times.
